Seattle 9-1-1 Center Renovation

Saybr was awarded this project as a work order issued from a Job Order Contract with the City of Seattle. The goal of the project was to perform a major renovation of the North Seattle Police Precinct 9-1-1 communication center, including both the call center and training room. The 9-1-1 Center is the main emergency call center for the entire State of Washington and construction took place while the Center remained occupied, requiring close coordination and communication with the City project management, procurement personnel, facility managers, and staff supervisors.

Saybr implemented extensive work area protection measures throughout the project, including the construction of dust partition walls to protect the center’s working areas and sensitive call equipment. The work was carefully phased in order to minimize disturbance to ongoing operations, including two shifts and weekend work to accommodate facility operations. The project was completed two weeks ahead of schedule.
